RAD Data Communications Shortlisted by Total Telecom for a World Vendor Award

RAD Data Communications has been selected by a panel of jurors as one of 32 leading telecom vendors that have been shortlisted for the first ever World Vendor Awards. RAD, which has pioneered access network innovations for fixed line and mobile operators, enterprise networks, public utilities, and the transportation industry, was nominated in the “Best Specialist Vendor” category.

The World Vendor Awards recognize excellence among the suppliers of hardware, software and services for the global telecoms industry, and are the only independent impartial awards that are focused on telecom vendors. The competition is organized by Total Telecom, Europe’s leading provider of news and analysis for the global telecom industry, which also produces the respected World Communications Awards, which were launched in 1999.

“RAD is honored to be included as one of the finalists,” stated Amir Karo, Vice President of Marketing at RAD Data Communications. “This nomination is another confirmation of the leadership role that RAD has historically played, and continues to play, in the telecommunications industry.”

Award winners will be announced at a black tie dinner to be held at the Underglobe, located beneath London’s famed Globe Theatre, on May 5.

Members of the jury include Xavier Cauchois, Europe, Middle East and Africa Leader for Technology, PWC; Antonio Coronado, Director, Telemark Services; David Ellis, General Manager, Group Technology & Transformation Office, Telecom Corp. New Zealand; Axel Haentjens, Vice President of Marketing, Brand and External Communications, Orange Business Services; Matt Hatton, Research Director, Analysys Mason; Mary Lennighan, Executive Editor, Total Telecom; Camille Mendler, VP, Yankee Group; Anne Morris, Editor, Total Telecom; and Lucy Woods, CEO, Viatel.
